Mr. Butler,
My name is Joe Diener, my Grandfather was MSG Bobby Diener who served with the 38th Tactical Missle Wing, 586th MMS Hahn Germany from 1961-1965. He passed on Nov 2, 2008.
The reason I’m writing is recently my Grandmother published a book called “Goodbye My Children” which documents her time with my Grandfather during that time. In it she references a gentleman by the name of SGT Mawhinney who served with my grandfather and helped our family at a very scary point. I was hoping to find a lead on where to contact this gentleman if he’s still alive.
