Everyone was welcomed to the Reunion.  A thanks was given to Max Butler for his job of making all the arrangements for the reunion.

A discussion was held on the $50.00 surcharge by the hotel but it was determined that it would not be included in the bill.

Old Business:

Max brought it to our attention that people are lacking in paying their dues.  A discussion was held on sending out E-mails as reminders to the members who were behind on their dues.   It was also suggested that Russ Reston put a note on the web site to remind members of their dues being lax.

Also discussed was lifetime membership dues.   It was brought up that we are a limited life organization, unlike organizations like VFW or American Legion that have members constantly joining.   Once we get to a point where there is a lack of members, it will be disbanded.

New Business:

Since our president had resigned, we needed to elect one.  It was brought to the attention of the members that basically all the president of our organization does is preside over the meetings.   No one was nominated, so we asked for volunteers and Guy Vanderman volunteered to be President and he was accepted by the membership.

Since there was no need for an Executive Director, it was unanimous that Joe Perkins would be known as Executive Director Emeritus.    Max Butler agreed to stay on as treasurer and Jerry Brenner as Secretary.

Bob Cook  presented Max and Joe with a tee-shirt and certificate.

Next on the agenda was voting for the location for the next reunion.  The nominations were:

  • Savannah, GA  =  9
  • Dayton, OH  =  10
  • Tucson, AZ  =  11
  • Nashville, TN  =  12
  • Albuquerque, NM  =  2
  • Seattle, WA  =  5
  • Kansas City, KS  =  3

One of the members made a motion to vote on the top four locations and after a vote, it was rejected.   The 2021 reunion will be in Nashville, TN.

The new officers were introduced and accepted by the membership.

There was a closing prayer by Tony Valovich.

Meeting was adjourned at 1644 by Jerry Brenner, Secretary.

Respectfully,

Jerry Brenner,

Secretary,
TAC Missileers
