Okinawa photos wanted…

Bill Horn has been selected by the Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) to represent the “Original Pioneers” of the 498th Tactical Missile Group, 873rd and 874th Tactical Missile Squadrons, in an historical documentary they will filming in and around Okinawa during December.  Bill, his wife Brenda and their 9 year old daughter will be traveling to Okinawa as guests of the Tokyo Broadcasting System from December 12th through 17th to participate in the documentary.

Bill advises that he is excited about the trip and considers it a real honor “to represent our Armed Forces and the United States of America and its People.”  He comments, “I was actually blown away that I would ever return to the Island.”

Bill has asked, “Was wondering if you might put out a call to all Okinawa Vets to loan some pictures to me for trip to Okinawa.  The TBS is attempting to locate any Baby Boomers who may recognize their old images.”

If you have any old photos, taken during your assignment at Okinawa, that you are willing to share with Bill and the Tokyo Broadcasting System, please contact Bill Horn (knifeboy@twlakes.net) as soon as possible.

Thanks!
